Our Gaming Commission
The function of the commission is regulatory, not managerial, in nature. The Gaming Commission is charged with all federal regulatory requirements under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) enforced by the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC). In order to comply with all federal regulations the commission is authorized to conduct audits and investigations within gaming operations, review and approve operational procedures and internal controls standards, and if necessary, take enforcement on behalf of the Tribal Nation. The Commission also serves as the licensing authority for all Santa Rosa Rancheria gaming employees as well as vendors conducting business with the casinos.
